Get Started in Your Practice

Congratulations! You are ready to get started using Synct! We refer to this process as “Go-Live” and this page guides you through the steps to begin using Synct in your practice. Please review and follow these steps in order for the best Go-Live experience. If you have already completed some of these steps, no problem – just skip the completed steps and move to the next. Congratulations on your decision to use Synct! Whether you are maximizing the features of asynchronous text telemedicine, video conferencing, prescription refill, or all of the features, Synct is customizable and powerful to adapt to your practice. For that reason, we have numerous online resources available to be used to Go-Live in your practice. Our team is also ready to advise you on how to select, customize, and promote your great new services.

Your Step-by-Step Guide to a 4 Day Go-Live with Synct!

Recommended Schedule

Regarding implementation, we recommend that you plan on a 4 Day Go-Live Schedule. While Synct can be implemented in a matter of a couple of hours, a four day plan is usually best due to everyone’s schedule. Here is what we recommend:

Prior to Day 1 – Steps 1-2

Step 1 – Review Provided Resource Plans and Choose How to Use Synct in Your Practice

Most all clients of Synct have one or two leaders that are the champions of implementing Synct in the practice. These individuals guide all users and decide how Synct will be used, promoted, and set up to meet the practice needs.

Implementation Plan – this document is helpful to understand your options, select your settings and features, and to prepare to train your team

Promotion Plan – share Synct with your existing patients to gain their trust and loyalty

Outreach Plan – gain new patients to your practice

You can access the Synct store and have items shipped directly to you. We can customize any of these items to add your logo.

Step 2 – Decide on Your User Login Location

Your practice users and patients will need to access Synct online from any device using an internet browser. While we recommend Chrome as the browser, it is not required. You can direct users to our login page https://synct.md/tmalogin or you can add the login iFrame to your website. Day 1 – Steps 3-5

Step 3 – Provider Registration & Approval

Have your Physicians and/or Physician Extenders register in Synct at https://synct.md/tmalogin. They will choose at the bottom of the login box “I need to register as a Physician/Provider” and follow the steps. If your practice has signed a Provider Agreement, we will add your practice/organization for the users to select during registration. Otherwise, they can e-sign the Provider Agreement during registration. Our team will need to approve new user registration before they can move to Step 4 below.

Step 4 – Learn your Synct Dashboard, Complete Provider Profiles & Add Team Members

After approval, each Physician will need to complete their Profile and choose how they want to use Synct. The best place to start is to watch this Physician Dashboard Tutorial. It is 13 minutes long but packed with great information on how to complete your profile, choose conditions you will support, select your options for responding to care requests, add team members to help you, set up a call group and schedule, and so much more. When you add team members, they will have their own login username and password and you can choose their role from a security perspective.

Step 5 – Add an Optional Administrative User

If you want your CEO, Administrator, or Office Manager to have a single Dashboard to view all activities of all Providers and run reports for the entire practice, have one of your providers add them as an Office Team Member and designate their role as either a System Administrator or Practice Administrator. After one physician adds the Administrative user, this user will have access to all of the physician and provider accounts in your practice.

Days 2-3 – Steps 6-7

Step 6 – Complete Training

Each Physician and Team Member will need to complete training in Synct. This takes about 45 minutes for each user and the training is accessible at https://synct.md/training

Next, make sure you have set up your devices for easy access to Synct.

  1. Bookmark https://synct.md/tmalogin on your internet browser. Chrome is the recommended browser.
  2. Download the Synct App on your mobile device.

Step 7 – Customize How You Will Use Synct

Synct is powerful with customization and use options to tailor to your practice needs. You can set up a call group, choose a video conference schedule, change your notification settings, or many other customizations to meet your specific needs. All of these options are from your Dashboard. The Synct Help Center and Training Videos are great sources of information to help you make these decisions or contact our team and we will walk you through your options and steps.

Step 8 – Promote Your New Services!

Using the Promotion and Outreach Plan materials, promote Synct to your patients and community. We provide the resources you need or can support you if you have a special or customized approach to informing others of your great new services.

Outreach Plan – gain new patients to your practice
